There are weddings that strike you for their aesthetics and others that shake you with their intensity. Gabriella and Niccolò’s wedding at Il Paese dei Campanelli, in Barberino Val d’Elsa, in the Chianti countryside near Florence, definitely belongs to the latter. It is rare to feel such a strong connection, not only between the couple but also with those of us there to work.
The emotion was in the air, thick and sincere. Between shots, it was impossible not to be moved by their tenderness. A unique highlight was the reception, featuring the live preparation of a millefoglie cake, a sensory experience that surprised and delighted everyone present.
Watching the cake take shape in front of the guests added a touch of craftsmanship and wonder to the evening. For me, documenting this day was an honor; every tear and every smile told a story that deserved to be narrated with the utmost sensitivity.
